GOOD QUESTIONS. CLEAR ANSWERS.

Before you look closer.

What Just is, what’s ready, and what we’re building next.

What does the CourtListener integration give me?

CourtListener contains millions of legal opinions and federal court documents. Just’s private pilot searches opinions and dockets and imports a selected record, including available plain-text opinion content. An imported docket is not a complete case file. Public transcripts and filings vary by case; Just does not have millions of complete transcripts ready for analysis.

Are the information feeds live?

The Signal combines FBI missing-person notices, Seattle and London police releases, The Marshall Project’s nonprofit reporting, and news discovery through GDELT. Sources refresh on request with an hourly cache; availability and checked times are shown in the feed. The globe marks source areas or reporting regions, not real-time incident locations. CourtListener search is on demand. Automatic case alerts and continuous shared-room updates are planned.

Can other people join the evidence board now?

The public Harbor board is an interactive concept with fictional records. You can move pins, inspect connections, and explore a scripted AI review. It has no live participants and does not save changes across visits. Shared visual rooms and live presence are in development.

What is Just?

Just is a citizen-investigation platform in development. It brings case records, source-linked AI review, and shared research tasks into one workspace. The public waitlist is open; investigation tools are currently in a private pilot.

Do I need an audience or a professional background?

No. Just is being built for careful citizen investigators, families, advocates, journalists, researchers, and creators with their communities. You do not need followers to join the waitlist.

Can I upload or import a case?

The private pilot supports creating cases, importing available CourtListener records, and adding documents. Public case submission is not open yet. Do not send case material through the waitlist form.

Can AI solve a case or prove a wrongful conviction?

AI can help locate passages and suggest questions for review. It cannot establish guilt, innocence, or the legal significance of a finding. Original records, human judgment, and qualified legal review remain essential.

Are the mysteries real cases?

The Mystery Desk contains original fictional puzzles with complete solutions. Classic-case articles are separate, clearly labeled, and link to their sources. A puzzle answer is never a finding about a real person.

Does the landing-page example use a real case?

No. The Harbor file is a fictional illustration. Its sample documents and AI-style observation demonstrate an idea; no live AI analysis runs when you explore it.

Does Just automatically send my documents to AI?

No. In the private pilot, you select the source sections and confirm a review before the app sends that selection for analysis.

How do I get early access?
